Suitcase trade between Iran and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) during the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20) stood at $82.81 million, indicating a 18.38% decline compared to the preceding year, IRNA reported. Suitcase trade in Iran refers to the small-scale trade that takes place across borders with the northern, northeastern and northwestern neighbor countries between the border regions’ residents.
