The government aims to increase revenues from non-oil exports, including the export of services, to $77 billion by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21), IRNA reported on Wednesday. According to the plan, the value of exports of goods is expected to reach $61.1 billion, while exports of services are to generate more than $15.6 billion. Also based on the plan, the value of exports of gas condensates should stand at $15 billion, petrochemical products at $35.2 billion, minerals at $4.4, agricultural products at $5.5, and other commodities at $1 billion. The export of non-oil goods, including gas condensates, reached $50 billion last year, recording a 19% increase compared to the preceding year. Moreover, around $13 billion was registered for the export of various services, which brings the total export of goods and services to $63 billion.
