Iran is willing to collaborate with United States to enhance its technologies in the agricultural sector after western sanctions are lifted, Isa Kalantari, the head of Agriculture House, announced on Tuesday, as reported by Eghtesad New. In case of a thaw in diplomatic relations with the US, Iran could benefit from the United States’ technological capabilities in different agricultural areas such as farming, gardening, plant genetics, livestock, forestry, water, soil and agricultural machinery. “We are already conducting scientific research together with a university in Unites states on pistachio cultivation,” the official added.
