Iran exported close to $195.6 million worth of goods to the US over the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20), IRNA reported, citing the latest statistics released by Iran’s Customs Administration (ICA). On the other hand, close to $154.1 million worth of goods were imported from the US over the period. The exports mainly included wood, multi-layer plywood and different types of watch and clock, while the imports included commodities such as butter, refined corn oil, processed food, industrial oil, human and animal blood, surgical thread as well as different types of medicine. Based on the ICA’s report, Iran exported to 152 countries last year, while it imported from 127 countries.
