Asia and Europe account for slightly more than 97.95 percent of Iran’s total imports over the 11 months of the previous Iranian year (ended march 20), leaving the other three continents with $48.258 billion in terms of value (mere 2.05 percent overall), ISNA reported on Monday. The report puts the value of imports from Asia at $37.3 billion, Europe at $9.9 billion, North and South America at $732 million, Oceania at $192 million and Africa at $66 million, listing China, Germany, Brazil, Australia and South Africa consecutively as top exporters to Iran.
