The deputy minister for cooperatives, labor, and social welfare has participated in the fourth session of the Permanent Committee of Social and Economic Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMESC) in Turkey which aims to alleviate poverty in Muslim countries. Ahmad Meidari told Mehr News Agency that Turkey and Indonesia are among the countries which have created efficient databases to implement social support programs. Turkey has recently provided health care for millions of its citizens through a comprehensive plan.
