Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and social Affairs, Ali Rabei says 600,000 new jobs have been created by the current administration, adding that 8 million employees in the country do not have access to insurance benefits.
“A survey of the country revealed that out of the 23 million people employed in various sectors, only 15 million have access to insurance benefits and the remaining lack insurance coverage,” Mehr news agency quoted the minister as saying on Saturday.
Observing that the foreign currency and gold markets have become relatively stabilized, the minister said one of the goals of the Rouhani administration, which assumed office in August 2013, was to make these markets more predictable.
