Large economy, micro enterprises, is the labor ministry’s policy for fighting unemployment, deputy minister of cooperatives, labor and social affairs in entrepreneurship and occupation, Hassan Ta’ee said on Thursday. Addressing the Occupation and Investment working group in Semnan Province, the official said due to the current economic constrains in the country, job creation should be pursued mainly through small workshops, IRNA reported. “Large government organizations and industries are currently incapable of providing sufficient job opportunities to address the unemployment issue,” said the official, emphasizing the vital role of home-based, micro and small businesses in creating employment opportunities. He mentioned financial and legal support towards networking, marketing and branding for small enterprises as a major policy pursued by the labor ministry.
