Cell phone imports grew by 69.7 percent during the eleven months of the current Iranian year (to end March 20), compared with the same period last year, Fars news agency reported. The total value of cell phone imports reached $267 million over the period, the report added, noting that $37.3 million worth of mobile phones were imported in the month of Bahman (mid-January to mid-February) alone. Cell phones imports reached a value of $157.6 million in the last Iranian year.
