Iran imported wheat grains worth $2.22 billion in the 11-month period that ended on February 21, which accounted for the largest share of Iran’s total imports (4.6%) during the period, ISNA reported. Citing figures released in the latest report by Iran’s Customs Administration, the report went on to say that other imports during the period included vehicles with 1500-2500 engine capacity, valued at total $1.7 billion; corn, at $1.5 billion; rice at $1.2 billion and soybean at $1.1 billion.
