African Interest in Hormozgan

A group of ambassadors of African countries have called for commercial ties with the Southern province of Hormozgan. In a trip to the province, envoys from Egypt, Tunisia, Uganda, Kenya, and Comoros praised the province’s capacities including its strategic location, transit infrastructures, and industries, reported IRNA. Officials in Hormozgan said the private sector could help African countries benefit from investing in Hormozgan. The province also welcomed the proposal to start direct flights from the port city of Bandar Abbas to African destinations.
