A senior Jordanian official called on Friday for the establishment of “Iran-Jordan Supreme Council of Trade Cooperation,” IRNA reported. In a meeting held between the Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Al-Kabariti, and Iran’s ambassador to Jordan, Mojtaba Ferdosipour, both sides called for broadening bilateral commercial ties. The two sides also welcomed the idea of establishing a joint chamber of commerce, and stressed the significance of an upcoming conference on investment opportunities in Tehran. The Jordanian official described the conference as an opportunity that could help broaden commercial ties between the two countries’ manufacturing companies.
