Transactions in the housing market in the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-December21) registered a 60 percent growth compared to the same period last year, reported ISNA on Monday. The market experienced no price fluctuations in the said period, the report added. The average price of an apartment in Tehran indicated a 4.3 percent increase over the period; however, the increase was less than the inflation rate. According to ISNA, renting prices did not experience any considerable fluctuations either. In general terms, the housing market is gradually stepping out of recession and transactions in the housing market are incrementally increasing and it is expected that the trend will continue in the upcoming year (starting March 21), experts believe.
