Iran and the International Transport Forum (ITF) have singed an MoU to expand bilateral transport ties and improve business environment in this sector, Mehr news agency reported on Sunday. In his meeting with Umberto de Pretto, the secretary general of ITF in Geneva, Masoud Karbasian, the head of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) could also persuade ITF to pay its receivables to IRICA’s by 2010. The International Transport Forum (ITF) is an inter-governmental organization within the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) system. It acts as a think tank for global transport policy issues and organizes annual meetings of transport ministers.
