Ties With KRG

Iran is planning to transfer technical know-how in the agriculture industry to Iraqi Kurdistan, Vice President for Scientific and Technological Affairs Sourena Sattari said in a meeting with the Iraqi Kurdistan Government’s (KRG) Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Abdul-Sattar Majid Qader in Tehran, IRNA reported on Tuesday. Sattari referred to the numerous areas of potential cooperation especially in agriculture and said Iranian knowledge-based companies are quite prepared to export their agricultural products and transfer technology and equipments to Iraqi Kurdistan. The Iraqi official, for his part, stressed the need for enhancing bilateral cooperation and said Iran’s help will definitely be constructive for Iraqi Kurdistan’s agricultural development.
