Transactions in the housing sector have been on the rise in winter, head of the real estate union, Hesam Oghabie told Mehr news agency on Monday. “In the first week of the second month of winter, Bahman (January 21-February 19), 37,981 contracts were registered in the housing market, 23,290 of which were sale contracts and 12,941 ones were for rent,” he said. Of the total number of contracts, 7,798 belonged to Tehran, the official said. Expressing content about the increase in transactions, he said that housing prices are not expected to rise by the yearend (March 20).
