The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME)’s secondary market played host to 60,000 metric tons of used oil, 167 tons of scrap armatures, and 4 tons of barrels, which were offered by Islamic Republic of Iran Railways, on Saturday’s trading, the IME’s Public Relations and Foreign Affairs Office reported.
Elsewhere on the industrial and mining trading floor, close to 147,950 tons of bloom were supplied. Moreover, 4,000 tons of copper cathodes, offered by National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICIC), and priced at 119,315 rials per kg, were put up on the board. The NICIC also offered 3,500 tons of copper wire, with the base price of 198,729 rials per kg, 30,000 tons of low-grade copper, 100 tons of molybdenum-sulfur, and 18 tons of precious metals concentrate on the same floor. The World Copper Company offered 270 tons of copper wire, priced at 199,279 rials per kg. Iran Aluminum Company supplied 800 tons of aluminum ingot 99.75-percent purity, with the base price of 72,935 rials per kg.
The agricultural trading floor also played host to 6,200 tons of local corn in two separate cargoes.
Meanwhile, 23,000 tons of various lube-cut oils, 23,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 4,000 tons of granulated sulfur and 9,711 tons of petrochemicals were offered on the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Jey Oil Refining Company offered 30,300 tons various grades of bitumen.
Finally, about 20,000 tons of bitumen 85100 offered by Jey Oil Refining Company, as well as 100 tons of roof insulation were put up on the board of the export trading floor. Overall, 363,120 tons of different commodities were offered on the IME’s spot market.
