More than 400 companies from Iran and 18 other countries, especially from Europe, will attend the 13th International Exhibition of Accessories, Furniture’s Machinery and Equipment, and Related Industries known as Woodex to be held in Tehran February 1-4, IRNA reported. More than 140 foreign exhibitors from France, Germany, Spain, the UK, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Japan, and Taiwan as well among other countries will showcase their latest achievements and products in the exhibition, said Vahid Tayebinejad, head of the organizing committee, adding that the number of foreign participants has doubled this year compared to the previous fair. The four-day event will be held on a 50,000-square-meter venue on Tehran’s permanent fairground. The Woodex 2015 will showcase advanced machinery to cut wood for furniture, packaging machinery for furniture, carpentry equipment, chipboards, medium-density fiberboards (MDFs), parquets, industrial resins, artificial leather, and kitchen cupboards.
