The Central Bank of Iran deposited two trillion rials ($72.9 million at official rate) in the Bank of Industry and Mine (BIM). The three month deposit given on December 22 carries a 20 percent interest rate. The deposit was made to help BMI manage its financial resources and prevent it from overdraft, IRNA reported.
