Iran Chamber of Commerce to Publish First-Ever PMI Report

The Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture is to soon publish a purchasing managers index (PMI) report to provide more transparent information about business conditions in Iran. 
The report, which will be published at regular intervals, is a first of its kind in the country.
ICCIMA has announced on its official news website that it will publish its monthly PMI report under the Farsi acronym "Shamekh". 
The norm is to publish the report on the first working day of each Iranian month and the chamber aims to stay loyal to that norm, but will disclose the first report with a few days’ delay on Nov. 1, which marks the 10th day of the eighth Iranian month, Aban.
