Farmers who have incurred losses from natural disasters during the Sept. 2017-18 harvest season will enjoy a three-year break in paying back their loans to banks. The Central Bank of Iran ratified the related directive and notified the banking system on Sunday. As per the directive, farmers in provinces that experienced natural disasters during the period will be entitled to enjoy the relief measure once they are referred by the Islamic Republic of Iran National Disaster Management Organization to their respective governorates, ILNA reported.
