Medicinal Plants Expo Scheduled for November

The Fourth Festival and Exhibition of Medicinal Plants is scheduled to be held at Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla from Nov. 12-15.
This edition of the exhibition is aimed at supporting domestic production and job creation, as well as utilizing domestic capacity in medicinal plants and traditional medicine, ILNA reported.
“Iranian medicinal plant industry has an annual turnover of 70 trillion rials ($700 million), of which 30 trillion rials ($300m) to 40 trillion rials ($400m) pertain to exports,” Hossein Zeinali, an official with the Ministry of Agriculture, said.
