The construction of a factory producing calcium chloride with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons and magnesium hydroxide with 5,000 tons began in Khur and Biabanak County of Isfahan Province on Saturday.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization Mehdi Karbasian, as well as Isfahan Governor General Mohsen Mehralizadeh, IMIDRO reported.
The project will create 30 direct jobs and 300 indirect ones upon completion. Some 400 billion rials ($4 million) have been invested in the project that will take 18 months to complete.
