Larestan International Airport located near Lar, a city and capital of Larestan County in Fars Province, will operate flights to Muscat, the capital of Oman, from August 29, the news service of Iran’s Ministry of Roads and Urban Development cited public relations of the airport as saying. Larestan-Muscat flights will be operated by Kish Air on Wednesdays. The airport already operates flights to the UAE, Kuwait, Tehran and Ahvaz. According to Director General of Larestan Airport Aminollah Solati, the construction of the airport’s Terminal 2, with an area of 6,000 square meters, is now complete and the terminal is ready for inauguration.
