TSE Firms Pay $6.6b in Dividends in 1 Month

Tehran Stock Exchange-listed companies have paid out 292 trillion rials ($6.63 billion) of dividends to investors during the fourth month of the current fiscal year (June 22-July 22). The firms’ estimated earnings by July 22 stood at 504.6 trillion rials ($11.46 billion), showing a 6.8-trillion-rial ($155.97 million) growth compared to the month before, ILNA reported. Out of the exchange’s 310 companies, 34 increased their earnings forecast compared to the year’s third month (May 22-June 21), while 64 saw it drop and 212 made no change to their forecasts. Tehran Stock Exchange is Iran’s largest exchange that opened in 1967. Its market capitalization stood at 4.9 quadrillion rials ($111.45 billion) on Sunday.
