A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education to accelerate the process of customs clearance for health-related products. “All of the country’s customs officers are aware of the sensitivity of medicines and medical equipment, and shall exercise utmost care in dealing with the clearance of health-related products,” IRICA’s CEO Foroud Asgari was quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency on the sidelines of the ceremony for signing the MoU on August 1.
