More Industrial Units Established

The Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade issued 2,861 permits for the establishment of industrial units during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21-May 21), which shows an increase of 23% in the number of permits compared to last year’s corresponding period.
The provinces of Khorasan Razavi, Yazd and Fars had the highest share in obtaining the establishment permits that reached 221, 213 and 200 respectively.
The permits created a total of 69,667 jobs during the two-month period, which is up by 28% year-on-year. The highest number of jobs among Iranian provinces was created in East Azarbaijan (4,321) and Qazvin (4,191), IRNA reported.
