Women Account for 63% of Gov’t Recruitment Examinees

Women accounted for 232,661 or 63.54% and men for 133,509 or 36.46% of all the participants in the fifth edition of recruitment exam for public services posts held on July 6, the top counselor with the National Organization of Educational Testing said. 
Noting that a total of 17,347 job opportunities were up for grabs, Hossein Tavakoli added that Iran Veterinary Organization would employ 72 of those who pass the exam, Iran Fisheries Organization 138, Ministry of Roads and Urban Development 270, Department of Environment 200, the Ministry of Economic and Finance Affairs 45, the Iranian Health Insurance Organization (IHIO Salamat) 15, the National Land and Housing Organization 2 and the Endowments and Charity Organization would employ 100 people, IRNA reported.
