Close to 57 grades of various polymers from local petrochemical complexes were offered on the oil and petrochemical trading floor of Iran Mercantile Exchange on Tuesday, IME’s public relations and foreign affairs reported.

The floor played host to 58,026 tons of different polymers. Styrene butadiene rubber, acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, polyethylene terephthalate, heavy and light polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyvinyl chloride were among the main commodities supplied there. In addition, 31,300 tons of bitumen, 1,500 tons of vacuum bottom, and 1,500 tons of sulfur lumps were also offered at Tuesday’s trading.

Meanwhile, the export trading floor played host to about 116,100 tons of various grades of bitumen, as well as 13,500 tons of granulated sulfur, priced at $122 per ton. Hormozgan Steel Company (HSC) offered close to 10,000 steel slabs C, with the base price of 14,320 rials per kg on the industrial and mining trading floor. Furthermore, 3,700 tons of various metallurgical cokes were offered to the customers on the same floor.

Finally, 250 tons of local corn, and 25 tons of soybean meal from Argentina were offered on the agricultural trading floor.
