A media delegation from, Russia comprising leading press and broadcast representatives on Tuesday met with managers of Donya-e-Eqtesad Media Group at the company’s head office in Tehran. The meeting focused on the latest media developments in the countries with both sides expressing interest in effective cultural and media collaboration and reciprocal exchanges.
The Russian delegation pointed to the fact that the Russian people and even “journalists” have no “real” knowledge about the lives of ordinary Iranians, except for daily political issues such as Iran’s negotiations with remaining parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action–the formal name for Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal– including Russia to save the deal after the controversial US move to quit.
After introducing the publications of Donya-e-Eqtesad Media Group, Ali Reza Bakhtiari, the managing director, welcomed cooperation with the Russian side in related fields.
