Tehran Hosts Int’l Stationery Expo

The Fifth International Exhibition of Stationery & Engineering, also known as Iran Penex 2018, opened at Shahr-e-Aftab (Sun City) Exhibition Complex in south Tehran on Tuesday. The exhibition will run through July 6 and those interested can visit the expo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time, IRNA reported. According to Mousa Farzanian, the head of the Union of Stationery and Engineering Equipment Sellers, 70 domestic and three companies from Turkey, China and India are participating in the exhibition. Farzanian considered the import of raw materials the biggest challenge facing Iranian producers. “Currently, 60% of products of this union are imported,” he said.
