Former Bank Melli CEO and president of Central Insurance of Iran, Abdolnasser Hemmati, chaired a board of directors’ meeting of Asian Reinsurance Corporation in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday. During the organization’s 40th council meeting on 30 June 2017, Hemmati was reelected chairman for another two years. He has held the post for 16 years. Last week, Hemmati was appointed Iran’s ambassador to China, ILNA reported.
