Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran has launched a comprehensive marine website, which displays the arrival and departure of ships and connects related maritime departments, including ports, financial entities, the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code and Port State Control, with one another. The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, the Immigration and Passport Police Head Office, Iran Veterinary Organization’s Quarantine and International Affairs Department and the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company can have access to the site. The system has been piloted for Shahid Rajaee Port since May 22 and will be launched for all other Iranian ports in a month, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s news portal reported.
