The main index of Tehran’s over-the-counter market, Fara Bourse, ended slightly lower Wednesday as the day recorded trading of more than 115 million shares for 847,000 billion rials.
The IFX fell less than a point on the last trading day of the week. Iranian Petrochemical Investment Co. claimed the top spot in terms of the volume of shares exchanged, having around 5.93 million of its shares traded just before Wednesday’s close. Marun Petrochemicals recorded the highest value of trading after a total 18.34 billion rials of its shares changed hands at Fara Bourse. On the exchange-traded funds market, Atlas Investment Fund accounted for the lion’s share of ETF trade with exchange of 43,914 units. On the same floor, the Karis Fund finished the day first in terms of value as 129,620,000 rials of its shares exchanged hands.
