Iran's Import Price Index Slides as EPI Surges in Fiscal 2017-18

The import price index had a 3.7% drop in the last Iranian year (March 2017-18) compared to the year before, while the export price index saw a 5.6% rise year-on-year

The import price index stood at 486.7 in the last Iranian year (March 2017-18), registering a 3.7% drop compared to the year before, the Statistical Center of Iran reported.
As for each quarter of last year, the index fluctuated -1.1%, -1.7%, 0.7% and 2.2% year-on-year respectively.
