Iran traded $756.65 million worth of non-oil goods with Belgium in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), which is 53.5% more compared to the year before, making the European country Iran’s 21st biggest trading partner. As per the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s data, Iran exported 128.70 tons of commodities worth $123.99 million to Belgium last year, posting a 3.92% and 37.39% increase in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. The exports mainly included polyethylene terephthalate, semi-finished metal and steel products. Belgium exported 245,344 tons of goods worth $632.65 million to Iran during the period under review, up 132.40% and 57.12% in tonnage and value respectively YOY.
