The first national seminar on developing e-commerce was held on Wednesday at the ministry of industry, mine, and trade. The seminar’s aim is to promote cooperation between the public and private sector and to identify the barriers and problems of e-commerce and to develop coordination among agencies. A deputy from the training and research committee said that it is necessary to create a culture of e-commerce and to teach agency employees and government workers how to make use of new technologies. An official from the Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization said that his organization was seeking to enhance e-tourism accessibility in Iran.
