A senior advisor to the managing director of Kish Free Zone Organization has held a meeting with the Malaysian Ambassador to Tehran Raja Nushirwan Zainal Abidin to explore avenues for expansion of bilateral ties between the Iranian island and Malaysian officials and investors. The two discussed how Malaysian investors can invest in Kish development projects. According to the PR Department of KFZO, Rasul Keshtpour, in the meeting, pointed to the common grounds between Iran and Malaysia, saying that the relations between the two Muslim nations have been improved. Keshtpour said the meeting with the Malaysian envoy was a great opportunity to share fresh ideas that could boost bilateral ties. The KFZO says it’s planning to hold a “Kish Night Ceremony” in Malaysia to make Malaysians familiar with the Persian Gulf island. No date has yet been set for the event.
