New Terminal to Boost IKIA Capacity by 10-Fold

The construction of Iranshahr Terminal in the Imam Khomeini International Airport is planned to start in the next Iranian year (starting March 21), the airport’s CEO said. Shahram Adamnejad added that the terminal will have the capacity to handle 100 million passengers annually upon the completion of the new terminal, Mehr News Agency reported.

Adamnejad said the development of Iranshahr terminal will entail three phases, which need a total of €2.5 billion.
