The Central Bank of Iran announced on Friday that all certified currency-trading offices not affiliated with any bank will also be connected to its newly-established Forex Deals Integrated System, locally known by the acronym Nima. “CBI has begun the process of systematically meeting the domestic currency needs by holding training courses for bank-affiliated exchange shops. With the gradual joining of non-bank shops, one of the other major players of the currency market will be able to employ the services of Nima,” the regulator said in a statement published on its website.
