Bank Mellat has reached an agreement with the Association of Bureaux de Change Operators of Iran, based on which authorized money exchangers will be able to enjoy several services from the lender. After obtaining an introduction letter from the association, certified moneychangers will be able to have their cap of electronic transfer of money going through the Bank Mellat portal to 100 billion rials ($2.12 million) and have cashless ATM and multi-purpose POS devices installed in their shops, IBENA reported. Furthermore, accounts chosen by the bureaux de change will receive a special settlement ID. Ultimately, money exchange shops endorsed by their association will be able to get loans for purchasing their tools and equipment.
