High-Level Delegation for Euromoney Confab

The second Iran Conference organized by the London-based Euromoney magazine, slated for Feb. 8 in Paris and co-hosted by the Central Bank of Iran, will feature high-level Iranian officials as keynote speakers, alongside representatives of other countries. CBI Governor Valiollah Seif, the head of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, Mohammad Khazaei, Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and the head of Central Insurance of Iran, Abdolnasser Hemmati, are expected to attend the one-day conference, IRNA reported. Shortly after the two-year anniversary of the implementation of Iran’s nuclear accord with world powers, the conference will “highlight successes in the banking sector, the international correspondent banking relations achieved and the cross-border trade finance which is ongoing”, in addition to the regulation and compliance of Iranian banks and corporations and showcasing “the vast investment opportunities that Iran offers in capital markets, oil and gas, aviation, automotive, tourism and insurance”, according to the conference’s website.
