Bulgaria’s ambassador in Tehran has proposed Iran’s Agriculture Ministry cooperate in processing the European credit line for trading agricultural products between Iran and Europe. “The goal is for Iran’s agricultural products such as saffron and pistachio to be exported to Europe which, in return, will meet Iran’s needs in different fields,” Christo Polendakov was also quoted as saying by Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture in a meeting with the head of the private sector entity. He also called on TCCIM chief Masoud Khansari to support the proposal that will be discussed and reviewed in an upcoming meeting between Iran’s Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi and European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan.
