Yearend Bonuses Set for Public Sector Employees

The Iranian Cabinet set the fiscal yearend (March 20) bonuses for full-time public sector employees, including civil servants, members of the judiciary and armed forces as well as pensioners, at 8.47 million rials ($180) in its meeting on Sunday. The bonuses will be paid by Feb. 19, ILNA reported. All public employees should be paid at least 50% of the sum set by the government, even if they had joined that public sector entity less than a year ago.
