New CEO at Bank Maskan

 Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Masoud Karbasian, who also chairs the annual general meetings of all state-owned banks, has appointed Abolqasem Rahimi Anaraki as the new chief executive of Bank Maskan, the agent bank of the housing sector, through an executive decree. Rahimi, who previously served on the bank’s board of directors, has also been promoted to the chairman of the board, according to the text of the decree published by IBENA. Rahimi replaces Mohammad Hashem Botshekan. In his decree appointing Rahimi as the new chief executive, Karbasian highlighted his “commitment, expertise and experience”. Bank Maskan is the sole specialized lender of the housing sector in the country and until recently held the monopoly for offering home loans.
