More than 34 trillion shares have been offered via initial public offerings (IPO) at the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) and Fara Bourse, or over-the counter (OTC), since March 21, Iran Privitization Organization’s public relations office reported. Among the organization’s hoard of offerings, 282 billion shares have been sold through the TSE, and close to 25.7 trillion shares was offered at the OTC. Inaddition, 1 billion shares were sold based on negotiation, and 8.62 trillion shares were sold in tenders. Within the same period, 33.45 trillion shares were sold as creation units, 246 billion shares were sold as futures, and 348 billion shares were traded preferentially.
