Iranian Paper Mill’s 2nd Phase Launched

The second phase of Iran’s largest paper mill, Pardis Paper Mill Complex, was inaugurated by First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri on Thursday in Binaloud Industrial Town, 55 km southwest of Mashhad in Khorasan Razavi Province. With a production capacity of 150 million tons of packing paper, the project was completed in 17 months with the private sector’s investment of 1.25 trillion rials ($29.76 million) and in partnership with China. The second phase of the project has created 300 direct jobs, ILNA reported.
