Before the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (the formal name of Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers), international ties of Tose’e Ta’avon Bank were confined to correspondent relations with a few foreign banks but after the nuclear accord, the bank has managed to establish ties with 20 foreign banks, the bank’s CEO announced.  “We are still holding talks to increase the number of our correspondent relations but the figure is already much higher than what it was before the nuclear deal,” Hojjatollah Mahdian was also quoted as saying by IBENA. According to Tose’e Ta’avon Bank’s CEO, developments pertaining to international ties are impressive, but the level of the bank’s foreign transactions are not yet ideal.
