Monday’s trade at the Iran Mercantile Exchange included the offering of 400 tons of corn, priced 8,500 rials per kg, by a local supplier on the agricultural trading floor on Monday, IME’s public relations and international affairs office reported.

The industrial and mining floor played host to 60 tons of copper wire at the base price of 226,581 rials per kg. In addition, 10 kg of gold bullions was offered by Mouteh Gold Complex.

Moreover, almost 27,377 tons of various polymers of local petrochemical complexes were put up for bids for potential customers on the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, were among the polymers listed on the board for Monday’s trade.

The report also added that close to 30,300 tons of bitumen, 21,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 6,000 tons of vacuum bottom, and 2,000 tons of granulated sulfur was also supplied on the spot market.

Almost 12,500 tons of bitumen 6070 was offered on the export trading floor. In addition, 10,000 tons of sulfur lumps valued $161 per ton was available for overseas markets by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.    

According to the report, a total number of 110,000 tons of various commodities was offered on the spot market at the IME.
