Netherlands to Host Iranian Trade Mission

A delegation from Iran’s private sector headed by Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Gholamhossein Shafei is scheduled to visit the Netherlands from Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, 2018. The trade mission will comprise Iranian businesspeople active in the fields of agriculture, seeds, soil, fisheries, animal husbandry, clean energies, water management and irrigation systems, health, logistics and transportation, petrochemicals and oil and gas industries, ISNA reported. Earlier this month, senior ministerial officials of Iran and the Netherlands signed a joint plan of action on expansion of bilateral economic ties in the coming year. In a meeting in The Hague, the Netherlands, on Dec. 1, Iran’s Deputy Economy Minister Mohammad Khazaei and his Dutch counterpart, Martin Van den Berg, signed the plan of action for 2018, which entails cooperation in the fields of energy, water management, agriculture, shipping, banking, technology and airport development.
